About Us
At Tier One Broadcasting, we believe that a great event isn’t just about getting the tech right—it’s about helping people communicate with confidence when it matters most.
We specialize in producing high-end virtual and hybrid events for corporate teams, with a focus on internal communications, executive messaging, and mission-critical broadcasts. Whether it’s a leadership town hall, a product rollout, or a live-streamed summit, our role is to make it look and feel effortless—because the people behind the message have enough on their plates.
Founded by a veteran producer with more than 20 years of experience in broadcast television, live event production, and internal corporate communications, Tier One was built to fill a gap in the industry: the need for highly polished, reliable, and discreet production support that puts quality over flash, and substance over spectacle.
We’ve sat in control rooms, boardrooms, and green rooms. We know what it's like to prep a CEO, adapt to last-minute agenda changes, or troubleshoot tech on a tight timeline. And we’ve built our process to be calm, clear, and collaborative—so your team never has to worry about what’s happening behind the scenes.
Our name reflects our approach. “Tier One” isn’t about ego—it’s about the level of care and quality we bring to every engagement. It means showing up prepared. Communicating proactively. Thinking like a producer, but acting like a partner.
If you’re planning a virtual or hybrid event and need more than a basic stream—or if you’ve been burned by expensive vendors who overpromise and underdeliver—we’re here to help you take the pressure off and raise the bar.
About the Founder
Tier One Broadcasting was founded by Ricky Vazquez. Ricky is an award-winning journalist and producer with over 20 years in the television industry. Over the course of his career, he’s worked alongside some of the biggest names in news and sports, producing live broadcasts, high-stakes interviews, and large-scale events across the country. He’s earned three Edward R. Murrow Awards, an Associated Press Award, and even helped set a Guinness World Record with NBC’s Al Roker. From the Boston Red Sox control room to the anchor desk to the set of major motion pictures, Ricky’s work has always centered on storytelling, technical excellence, and helping on-camera talent deliver with confidence.
He now brings that same skill set to Tier One Broadcasting—offering virtual and hybrid event production that’s grounded in the fast-paced demands of live TV, but tailored to the needs of corporate teams and executive presenters. Based in Tucson, Arizona, Ricky also serves on the Board of Governors for the Emmy’s Rocky Mountain Chapter and lives on a working ranch with his wife, several rescued thoroughbreds, and a pack of behaviorally complex but beloved dogs.
Ricky created Tier One Broadcasting to meet a growing need: organizations were relying more and more on virtual and hybrid events, but the execution often fell short. Generic webinar platforms, overwhelmed internal teams, and vendors who didn’t understand the stakes led to events that were forgettable at best—and chaotic at worst. With T1, he set out to raise the bar, blending broadcast-level polish with corporate clarity.
That background is more than just a resume—it’s your safety net. Whether you’re running a CEO town hall, launching a product internally, or coordinating remote presenters across four time zones, you’ll have a partner who knows how to anticipate issues, support your speakers, and make the entire experience feel effortless.
As longtime colleagues in the broadcast industry have said:
“Ricky has the knowledge, experience and lay of the land after working in television so long. His ideas for stories and execution are JUST the tip of the iceberg.”
